Schecter has expanded their Sun Valley Super Shredder Series with the additions of the brand new Sun Valley Super Shredder FR S with crackle finishes, as well as the natural wood Sun Valley Super Shredder Exotic Ziricote and Exotic Black Limba.
The Sun Valley Super Shredder FR S looks like it’s straight out of the 80s with its crackle finish options. The guitar features a Mahogany body with a Schecter-exclusive Floyd Rose Special “Hot Rod” Locking Tremolo, and a bolt-on Maple neck with a Ebony fingerboard (except for the Green finish, which has a Maple fingerboard) and 24 X-Jumbo frets. The Sun Valley Super Shredder FR S comes loaded with a EMG Retro Active Hot 70 in bridge and Sustainiac in the neck, with the Sustainiac controlled by a two-way on/off switch and a three-way switch to choose between Fundamental, Mix, and Harmonic settings.
The Sun Valley Super Shredder FR S is available in Blue, Red, and Green Reign finishes here for $899.
Then there are the natural wood versions of the Sun Valley Super Shredders – the Exotic Ziricote and Exotic Black Limba. Both guitars feature a Black Limba with a Floyd Rose 1500 Series Bridge, and a bolt-on Wenge neck with an Ebony fingerboard and 24 X-Jumbo frets. The Sun Valley Super Shredder Exotic Series also feature a Schecter USA Sunset Strip in the bridge and a Schecter USA Pasadena in the neck.
The Sun Valley Super Shredder Exotic Ziricote is available in a Ziricote or natural Black Limba finish here for $1,199. The Black Limba finish is also available in a left-handed configuration for $1,249.
