Looks like Samsung is working on an LED fretboard guitar called the ZamStar.
Samsung calls the ZamStar an “all integrated smart guitar and online jamming platform not only for skilled musicians but also beginners,” which they’ll unveil at CES 2022. The guitar is pretty straightforward, it seems – it’s an electric guitar that offers LED lights on the fretboard that help guide players as they’re playing along. No real information is yet available on the “online jamming platform” platform aside from the fact that there’s an associated app available.
Learn a little more here, though I’m sure all the details will spill soon given CES starts tomorrow. Now if Samsung would only call Scale The Summit guitarist Chris Letchford, Dave Cohen of Equilibrium Guitars, and Dr. Gore, they could come up with a real high-end shredder.
