Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson’s company Lerxst has teamed up with Reverb for the release of his new Grace model. The Grace was created in partnership with Godin Guitars and is a reimagining of the Hentor Sportscaster with a mirrored pickguard, which Lifeson played throughout the recording and touring of Rush’s Grace Under Pressure album.
The Lerxst Grace offers up a Swamp Ash body, a Maple neck with Ebony fingerboard, and 22 frets. The Lerxst Grace comes loaded with a Mojotone Lerxst Humbucker in the bridge and two Mojotone Lerxst Single Coils in the middle and neck positions.
“We were blown away by the positive feedback we got from the release of Limelight earlier this year and knew that we wanted to do another one,” said Lifeson. “With Grace, we wanted to pay tribute to the 40th Anniversary of Grace Under Pressure by building off of my favorite guitar from that period and—much like Limelight—evolving the concept to create an instrument with a sound and playability that would speak to modern players.”
The Lerxst Grace is available for $3,999 here with a Vega Tremolo bridge or an Original Floyd Rose bridge.
