Reverb just released their Best-Selling Electric Guitars of 2024 list and it’s got some pretty big surprises! First and foremost was the dethroning of the PRS SE Silver Sky, which came in at No. 1 in both 2022 and 2023. The PRS SE Silver Sky came in at No. 3 in 2024 and was knocked off by the Fender Player Telecaster and Fender American Professional II Stratocaster.
Still, PRS managed to take home four spots within the top 10 – the SE Silver Sky obviously came in at No. 3, the Silver Sky John Mayer Signature at No. 8, the SE David Grissom Tremolo Signature at No. 9, and the SE Custom 24 at No. 10. So PRS hardly lost out. Oh, and it wasn’t all about PRS and Fender either. Gibsons’ Les Paul Standard ’60s and Les Paul Standard ’50s both came in at Nos. 6 and 7.
Additionally, the SE Silver Sky earned the top spot in the “best-selling used electric guitars of 2024” category. while the SE CE 24 Standard Satin earned the top spot in the “best-selling electric guitars released in 2024” category.
