“The distinctive pickup configurations of these five guitars deliver a versatile tonal platform, whether you’re exploring subtle textures or pushing the envelope,” said PRS Guitars COO, Jack Higginbotham.

“The deep dive into our Narrowfield technology is obvious with this launch. With both the S2 models made in our Maryland factory and the SE models made in Indonesia, our goal has been to create guitars that will inspire you and spark creativity, all at an exceptional value.”

Looking for flexibility and feel? The PRS S2 Special Semi-Hollow might be your match. It’s loaded with two 58/15 LT humbuckers and a PRS Narrowfield in the middle, and thanks to a 5-way switch and two mini-toggles, you get twelve distinct pickup combinations to play with. The semi-hollow body—with its carved Maple top and Mahogany back—adds a warm, airy character and extra sustain to your sound.

The S2 Special Semi-Hollow is available here for $2,599 in Faded Gray Black Purple Burst, Lake Blue, Fire Red Burst, Faded Gray Black Blue Burst, Dark Cherry Sunburst, and Black Amber finishes.

Need a guitar that covers a lot of ground? The PRS S2 Studio comes through with its unique single-single-hum layout. A coil-tap system expands your tonal palette even more, making this one a total workhorse.
