SE Chleo: Herman Li’s High-Speed Signature Model Comes to the SE Line

The new SE Chleo marks PRS’s first collaboration with DragonForce’s virtuosic shredder Herman Li, distilling the specs of the 2025 Limited Edition Chleo into a production SE model.

Equipped with Fishman Fluence Signature Series Omniforce pickups, the SE Chleo offers three distinct voices and up to 13 tonal combinations, giving players a vast palette from pristine cleans to searing leads.

“With the PRS SE Chleo, we set out to create the best affordable guitar that delivers a unique combination of effortless playability, outstanding craftsmanship, and versatile tonal range,” said Li. “It proves that a world-class instrument doesn’t have to break the bank.”

The SE Chleo also introduces a new finish — Mantis Burst — joining the returning Charcoal Purple Burst and Orchid Dusk.

SE DGT Standard: Mahogany Muscle and Grissom Warmth

The SE DGT Standard brings David Grissom’s signature PRS model to an all-mahogany platform, offering a slightly warmer, woodier take on the acclaimed SE DGT.

With dual volume controls, a master tone with push/pull coil-tap, and a PRS tremolo, the SE DGT Standard retains the precision and versatility of Grissom’s original — now with a bold midrange bite and stripped-down vintage vibe.

SE CE 24 Standard Stoptail Satin: PRS’s Most Affordable Model Ever

At just $499 USD, the new SE CE 24 Standard Stoptail Satin becomes PRS’s lowest-priced guitar to date — but it’s far from basic.

This new stoptail variant pairs the snappy attack of a bolt-on neck with an all-mahogany body for warmth and focus, powered by 85/15 “S” pickups and a push/pull coil-tap for versatile tonal options. The stoptail bridge adds solid tuning stability, making it an ideal workhorse for players of all levels.

SE Hollowbody Line Gets a Construction Upgrade

Working closely with manufacturing partner Cortek, PRS has refined the SE Hollowbody construction process for improved resonance and authenticity.

The new method uses a solid mahogany center section instead of bent sides, resulting in a “fully PRS” body shape and enhanced tone.

The SE Hollowbody II Piezo retains its 5-ply laminated maple top and back for strength and rigidity, while the SE Hollowbody Standard models continue their all-mahogany build with the updated structure.

The change also opens the door to new color options, including Vintage Sunburst for the SE Hollowbody II Piezo. Players can still blend the 58/15 LT “S” pickups with the piezo system, or split the outputs to run electric and acoustic signals independently.

DGT 15 Combo: Compact, Vintage-Inspired Tone

Capping the release is the new DGT 15 Combo, a 15-watt, single-channel amp that delivers Grissom’s signature tone in a compact 1×12 format.

Built with a 3-band EQ, boost, tube-driven reverb, tremolo, and master volume with a 3-way bright switch, the amp’s flexible controls make it gig-ready at any volume. The included 3-button footswitch gives players real-time control of the boost, reverb, and tremolo functions.

“I’m very excited the DGT 15 is now available as a combo amp!” said David Grissom. “With a tweak to the circuit and a lot of work on the cabinet design, the combo has a tight, robust low end and a slightly more open tone than the head version — all in a lightweight, portable package.”
