Toontrack has teamed up with Pain Of Salvation drummer Leo Margarit for a brand new MIDI pack that gets weird with the time signatures. The Progressive Patterns MIDI pack offers twelve songs in time signatures ranging from standard 4/4 all the way up to 19/16, and more than 400 individually played files.
How expansive do the grooves get with their time signatures, you might ask? The Progressive Patterns MIDI pack offers grooves in 4/4, 5/4, 6/4, 7/8, 9/8, 11/8 and 19/16 in straight and/or swing feel with tempos ranging from 80 BPM to 170 BPM – all categorized by leading instrument (closed hats, open hats, ride, crash, china, toms, etc.).
