The BASSRIG Fifteen is inspired by the Ampeg B-15 Portaflex, the first dedicated bass combo amp and a cornerstone of studio recording since the early 1960s. Known for its warm, rounded cleans and gentle, musical breakup, the B-15 defined the bass tones heard on countless Soul and R&B records.

Origin Effects’ all-analogue recreation preserves the low-powered sweetness and unique cabinet interaction that made the original such a studio favorite, while remaining versatile enough for any style that benefits from vintage warmth and touch sensitivity.

For players chasing sheer authority, the BASSRIG Super Vintage distills the unmistakable sound of the Ampeg SVT into pedal form. When the SVT debuted in 1969, its massive power, deep low end, and growling overdrive changed bass amplification forever.

Origin Effects recreates the full valve-style signal path and cabinet response using entirely analogue circuitry, delivering the punch and aggression that have made the SVT a mainstay on the world’s biggest stages. With both XLR and ¼” outputs, plus a dedicated Amp Out EQ, the Super Vintage integrates effortlessly into any rig without sacrificing tone.

Completing the lineup, the BASSRIG ’64 Black Panel channels the clean power and articulate grit of Fender’s Showman and Bassman amplifiers. Long before modern bass amps existed, these high-powered designs helped bassists cut through loud bands while retaining clarity and punch.

Heard on countless Soul and Rock ‘n’ Roll recordings of the 1960s, these tones are recreated here with an all-analogue amp and cabinet simulation that balances drive, definition, and dynamic response. Like its siblings, the ’64 Black Panel features flexible outputs and Amp Out EQ, ensuring consistent tone whether running direct or into an amp.
