Orange Amplification and Ed Sheeran have teamed up for a new range of acoustic amplifiers and speakers, the Outlowd by Ed Sheeran ES Series. Rather than focusing on arena-sized production, the ES Series draws inspiration from the environments where many musicians first learn to perform. “Music doesn’t start in arenas or on streaming platforms,” Sheeran said. “It starts in bedrooms, youth clubs, pubs, schools, parks, living rooms and street corners.”

The ES3

The range begins with the 3-watt ES3, a compact rechargeable Bluetooth speaker and acoustic amplifier designed for casual playing, practice sessions and portable listening. Built-in reverb gives your acoustic more space and resonance in the room, while simple controls keep it easy to use. Bluetooth and USB-C audio playback means it also works as a music speaker for listening, jamming and practice.

The ES60

Moving up the lineup is the ES60, which Orange describes as the “ultimate busking amp.” Delivering 60 watts of power, the battery-powered amplifier is aimed at musicians who need professional sound without relying on mains electricity. Features include an effects loop and +48V phantom power for microphone use, making it suitable for solo performers and singer-songwriters.

The ES100

At the top of the range sits the ES100, a 100-watt acoustic amplifier equipped with a Celestion speaker and intended for larger performances and professional applications.

Two channels cover guitar and microphone duties, with detailed EQ, reverb and practical stage controls throughout. Premium Celestion neodymium speakers, an effects loop, and balanced line out complete a rig-ready feature set built for serious players who need clarity, flexibility, and dependable sound on demanding stages. The ES100 is built for serious acoustic players in professional environments worldwide.

The collaboration extends beyond the products themselves through the Outlowd: Play It Home initiative. The program aims to support local music communities through artist showcases, equipment donations, rehearsal space projects and youth music programs. Events are planned in cities including Nashville, Paris, Tokyo and Toronto, highlighting emerging artists in intimate venues and community-focused settings.
