Ola Englund, guitarist for The Haunted, solo artist, producer, and YouTube creator, has released his blistering new single “The Guillotine”, now available on all major streaming platforms. Written and performed by Englund, the track features his signature blend of razor-edged riffing and massive grooves, mixed by Ermin Hamidovic and paired with a cinematic video directed by Jason McNamara.
To coincide with the single, Englund’s company Solar Guitars has announced its first-ever traveler/headless models: the H2.6C (6-string) and H2.7C (7-string). Designed for maximum portability without sacrificing tone or aggression, these compact axes deliver the same cutting-edge playability and modern metal voice that have defined Solar since its inception.
Englund explains the inspiration behind the new line: “I’ve always wanted to have a travel-friendly guitar — something I can easily bring with me when I’m on tour or moving between the studio and home. The H2.6C and H2.7C are exactly that, and I’m proud we’re finally releasing them.”
With “The Guillotine” and the launch of the new headless H2 series, Englund continues to push boundaries both as a musician and a gear innovator, reinforcing his standing as one of modern metal’s most forward-thinking forces.
