NEURAL DSP Rolls Out Desktop Editor For The Quad Cortex

After roughly a decade, Neural DSP is finally giving Quad Cortex users what they’ve always wanted – a desktop controller called the Cortex Control.

Cortex Control comes alongside a new version of the CorOS, which Neural DSP had the following notes about: “Cortex Control and the accompanying CorOS 2.3.0 are both finished. Their final builds were tested extensively over the holidays, no new issues were found.”

Cortex Control is exactly what it sounds like it is – a desktop application that syncs with your Quad Cortex and allows you to do all the editing you could ever want in an easy-to-use platform. Or as Neural DSP puts it, it’s “a fully integrated Cortex Control desktop controller lets you manage every feature and setting of your Quad Cortex.”

It should be noted that the Quad Control is only available to edit what you’ve got on your Quad Cortex. This isn’t some awesome standalone plugin that works tonal wonders on your laptop… though who knows, the wizards over at Neural DSP have that coming too?

Check out the patch notes here and get a Quad Cortex here if you don’t have one already.
