Walrus Audio has teamed up with Jim Hagerman for the new two-in-one Silt Harmonic Fuzz pedal. The Silt Harmonic Fuzz offers an analog circuit with a 12AU7 tube section to drive its fuzzy tone, but that’s hardly all the Silt is capable of.
The Silt brings with it a Harmonic Mode that acts as a frequency doubler before the drive section of the pedal, producing crispy, octave-like sounds. Then there’s the precise Contour control that allows you to toggle between highpass, flat, and lowpass curves in the pre-tube EQ stage, as well as the ablity to operate the Silt anywhere between 9v and 12v. Then of course there’s your usual Volume, Tone, and Gain knobs.
The Silt Harmonic Fuzz pedals come in red and black, and are available here for $299.
