Ibanez is introducing their new semi-hollow fretless bass – the SRD905F – alongside a demo featuring Shin Sakaino.
The SRD905F features a chambered Okoume body with an Exotic Maple top, a 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck with a Bound Panga Panga fretboard and Abalone oval inlays, and quite a bit of room to reach up to those high notes (roughly 30 frets). The SRD905F coms loaded with a AeroSilk MR5 bridge, and two Nordstrand Big Break pickups controlled by an Ibanez 2-band EQ and Piezo active tone control.
