MISHA MANSOOR’s Signature JACKSON Juggernauts: Twin Weapons For Modern Metal

As the driving force behind progressive metal juggernauts Periphery, Misha Mansoor has spent the last decade rewriting the rulebook on heavy guitar. With a playing style that seamlessly blends rhythm mastery and melodic finesse, Mansoor’s instruments must be just as versatile.

Enter the Pro Plus HT7 and the Pro HT7P – two distinct takes on Mansoor’s vision, each tailor-made for serious players looking to unleash technical power and tonal flexibility in a modern 7-string format.

Jackson Pro Plus Juggernaut HT7

The Misha Mansoor Jackson Pro Plus Juggernaut HT7 is built for speed, clarity, and durability. Featuring a 26.5″ scale length, it’s ideal for tight low-end riffing and extended-range articulation. The Poplar body keeps things balanced and resonant, while the bolt-on Caramelized Maple neck with graphite reinforcement provides exceptional stability.

Comfort comes standard thanks to a wrap-around heel and oiled back finish, allowing unhindered access all the way up the Ebony fingerboard. The board itself is a player’s dream: 20″ flat radius, rolled edges, 24 jumbo stainless steel frets, and offset dot inlays.

Onstage or in the dark, Luminlay side dots keep your fret positions visible. The heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel adds convenient tweakability without disassembling your setup.

For tone, Mansoor worked closely with Jackson to create the MM1 uncovered direct mount pickups. Paired with a five-way blade switch, single volume, and push/pull tone control, the HT7 delivers crystal-clear cleans, articulate midrange, and high-gain tightness.

Other key features include a Jackson HT7 string-through-body hardtail bridge, die-cast locking tuners, and Mansoor’s signature Horizon Devices Progressive Tension Standard 7 strings. Get the Misha Mansoor Jackson Pro Plus Juggernaut HT7 in Signal Yellow and Silverburst Sparkle here for $1,159.99 and $1,199.99, respectively.

Jackson Pro Plus Juggernaut HT7P

Prefer your tone with a bit more top-end shimmer and visual flair? The Misha Mansoor Jackson Pro Plus Juggernaut HT7P (P for Poplar Burl) adds a layer of boutique aesthetics and bright, biting character to Misha’s signature formula.

The Misha Mansoor Jackson Pro Plus Juggernaut HT7P pairs a Basswood body with a stunning Poplar Burl top, providing a slightly snappier tonal response and a striking Chlorine Burst Burl finish that’s as bold as the riffs it inspires. The neck is the same Caramelized Maple construction as its Pro Plus sibling, complete with graphite reinforcement, wrap-around heel, and an oiled finish for ultimate comfort and reliability.

This time around, the fingerboard is also Caramelized Maple, which not only enhances the top-end response but adds a touch of warmth and brightness to each note. Like the HT7, it features a 20″ radius, rolled edges, 24 jumbo stainless steel frets, and offset inlays – plus Luminlay side dots and a heel-mount truss rod wheel for full playability control.

The tonal core remains consistent: Jackson MM1 uncovered pickups, voiced with Mansoor’s input, offer detailed clarity and aggressive growl. The controls mirror the HT7: five-way blade, single volume, and a push/pull tone.

Rounding out the build is the Jackson HT7 string-through-body bridge, black hardware, matching 4×3 AT-1 headstock, and a set of Horizon Devices Progressive Tension Standard 7 strings tailored by Misha himself. Get the Misha Mansoor Jackson Pro Plus Juggernaut HT7P in Chlorine Burst here for $1,259.99.
