The FL-4 offers a Satin Black that bursts to Red on the front and back edges of its body, a neck-thru-body construction at 34″ scale, an Alder body with an extra-thin 5-piece Maple/Purpleheart neck, and Macassar Ebony fingerboard with black binding and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets. Its sound is driven by a single active EMG 35P pickup.
“I’ve been with ESP for almost 20 years now,” said Leclercq. “When you do 100 shows a year, you need to have instruments that look great, that sound great, and that are road-worthy. ESP instruments, they’re just that. So that’s why I’ve been with ESP for so long.”
