Kiesel Guitars has just unveiled their new Devin Townsend signature, the NEO and NEO Om. It’s a very well-rounded (literally) guitar that evokes the look of Allan Holdsworth’s signature models (that maybe had a weird kid with one of Tosin Abasi’s guitars), and comes in two very distinct versions.

First up is the usual Black version – the Neo Circle – which features a Mahogany body and Plain Maple top, a Roasted Maple neck with 27 Stainless Jumbo Frets and a Circle inlay at the 12th fret, and a single direct-mount active Devin Townsend Signature Fishman Bridge Pickup. The Neo Circle offers a 24.75″ scale and a Custom Covered Hipshot Fixed Bridge with .4125″ (10.5mm) spacing.

Then there’s the Neo Om, which is a little different. The Neo Om features a Mahogany body and Carved Poplar Burl top, a Roasted Flames Maple neck with Roasted Flamed Maple 2mm side dots and 27 Stainless Jumbo Frets, an Om inlay at the 12th fret, and three Direct-Mount Passive Kiesel S60A Single Coils in a stacked Single-Single-Single configuration. The Neo Circle offers a 24.75″ scale and a Custom Covered Hipshot Fixed Bridge with .4125″ (10.5mm) spacing.
