Kiesel Guitars has announced a limited-edition Micro Jason Becker Numbers guitar. The mini-axe is now offered in a short-run, collectors-only edition that captures Jason Becker’s limitless spirit and unique aesthetic in a compact 22.2″ scale format.
Kiesel’s trademark attention to detail is front and center. From its Tung-Oiled Swamp Ash body to the iconic Multi-Colored “Numbers” Inlays inlaid along a Maple fingerboard, the Micro model pays meticulous homage to Becker’s legendary custom axes – shrunk down without sacrificing a drop of performance.
Add Kiesel’s Blue logo, premium Red tuning pegs, and the unmistakable aesthetic palette that defined Becker’s original guitar, and you’re staring at a tribute model that radiates personality from every angle.
Players skeptical about short-scale guitars can relax. Kiesel dialed in a clever approach: pairing a 22.2″ scale with .011–.052 string gauges to recreate the familiar tension of .010–.046 on a full 25.5″ scale.
The guitar’s Kiesel FT6 bridge anchors everything with rock-solid intonation, while the Bolt-On construction with a sculpted neck heel ensures sleek upper-fret access. And with 24 Stainless Steel Medium-Jumbo Frets perched on a 14″ radius Maple fingerboard, shredders will feel immediately at home.
A guitar wearing Becker’s name would be incomplete without highly curated pickups, and Kiesel nailed it. This Micro monster features a full Multi-Colored Seymour Duncan set with a SH-2n in the neck, STK-S7 in the middle, and a Jason Becker Signature Perpetual Burn in the bridge.
