Kiesel Guitars has officially partnered up with Paul Masvidal of Cynic fame. While there’s no word on a signature model just yet, it’s safe to say that whatever Masvidal and Kiesel Guitars do next is probably going to be wild as all hell.
“Kiesel Guitars is excited to announce our newest endorser, Paul Masvidal,” wrote Kiesel Guitars. “The Cynic founder and headless guitar pioneer partners with Kiesel Guitars to play its vast array of headless instruments, both electric and acoustic-electric guitars.
“Masvidal, regarded as a trailblazer among many communities, helped launch the headless guitar to its booming popularity today. His origins with the construction can be traced back to the early 90s when Masvidal played with Death and helped introduce headless instruments to the metal scene.
“Today, he can be heard playing with his bands Cynic and Æon Spoke and his solo project, now to feature Kiesel Guitars in the studio and on stage. Kiesel is excited to work with Masvidal on future projects.”
Kiesel has been crushing it with their signees lately as well, having also gotten Stephen Carpenter’s signature model revved up and ready to go in December.
