Bring Me The Horizon guitarist Lee Malia has partnered with Jackson to bring the world his signature LM-87 model.
The LM-87 offers up an offset Surfcaster body shape with a thin open pore finish on the bound Okoume body, unique 3-ply pickguard, and chrome hardware. The LM-87 also has a D-profile 3-piece Okoume neck, 12″-16″ compound radius Amaranth fingerboard, and a TOM-style bridge with anchored tailpiece and fine tuners.
The LM-87 comes loaded with Custom Jackson signature pickups, including a bridge humbucker with push-pull coil-split to give players versatile tone shaping options.
On the pickup choice, Malia said he didn’t want something that was just good for metal: “I kind of like guitars that don’t just appeal to metal players. That’s why I like the P90 and the humbucker not being super hot, or like an EMG or an active pickup, because I like that you can do a lot of different tones with these pickups.”
The LM-87 is available here for $899.99.
