JACKSON and TRIVIUM’s COREY BEAULIEU Unleash the Pro Series King V KV6Q and KV7Q

Corey Beaulieu of Trivium has once again joined forces with Jackson to unveil his latest signature models: the Pro Series Signature Corey Beaulieu King V KV6Q and KV7Q. These new models channel the perfect mix of aggression and refinement that defines Beaulieu’s playing style, built to withstand the intensity of modern metal while delivering the precision and control demanded by players who refuse to compromise.

At first glance, the guitars are pure menace. Each model features a Transparent Black finish over a stunning Quilt Maple Top, the rippling wood grain shifting under the light like molten glass. The angular Mahogany King V body with its serrated points radiates attitude, while the through-body Maple neck construction delivers monstrous sustain and unshakeable stability. Reinforced with graphite rods, the necks are designed to endure the most extreme conditions.

For Beaulieu, this new generation of King Vs represents the culmination of years of collaboration and refinement. “I’m so happy to announce the release of my new signature series guitar,” he said. “Not only does it look fantastic, but the thing I’m most excited about is that it comes fully armed with my Signature Seymour Duncan Damocles Blackout pickups. It’s a true honor to be part of the Jackson family and to continue our long partnership with this amazing new model.”

Those Seymour Duncan Corey Beaulieu Damocles Signature Blackouts are the heart of the design, engineered to deliver the full-bodied, high-gain punch that defines Beaulieu’s sound. Tuned for his detuned progressive metal style, the pickups offer brutal low-end clarity, a searing midrange, and smooth, cutting highs that slice through any mix. A simple three-way toggle switch and single volume control keep things streamlined, letting players focus on performance without distraction.

Each guitar comes equipped with a Floyd Rose 1000 Series Double-Locking Tremolo System – the six-string version for the KV6Q and a seven-string for the KV7Q – providing absolute tuning stability no matter how deep the dive bombs or how punishing the bends.

The Ebony fingerboard boasts a 12”-16” compound radius, 24 jumbo frets, and classic sharkfin inlays (pearloid on the seven-string), ensuring effortless playability from lightning-fast runs to sustained bends. Every detail, from the smooth oiled neck finish to the black hardware and binding, contributes to an instrument that’s as lethal in feel as it is in appearance.

“The Corey Beaulieu signature embodies everything Jackson stands for: relentless innovation, technical mastery, and unwavering dedication to heavy music,” said Jon Romanowski, VP of Product at Jackson. “We’re thrilled to unleash these signature instruments and see how players around the world will push the boundaries with them.”
