IK Multimedia ReSing is a vocal-modeling plug-in and standalone application designed to generate natural, expressive vocal performances directly on a user’s computer.
Its engine analyzes timbre, articulation and phonetic detail, allowing any recorded vocal line to be transformed into the voice of a selected model while retaining the musicality and expression of the original performance. Because all processing occurs locally, the system requires no cloud connection, avoids upload delays and keeps all data entirely on the user’s machine.
The platform supports instant replacement of scratch takes, detailed adjustment of tone and delivery, and blending of multiple models for hybrid voices. Recordings made on consumer devices can be converted into polished studio vocals, and melodic lines sung or played for reference can be re-voiced into instruments using the same transformation engine.
IK Multimedia ReSing includes a growing catalog of English and Spanish voice models and provides the ability to import community RVC models or create fully custom models locally. Users may share or license their own models, and partner voices can be hired through the upcoming Sessions marketplace.
IK Multimedia ReSing operates as an ARA-compatible plug-in for integrated editing within supported DAWs or as a standalone environment. Built-in processing tools include IK Multimedia dynamics, EQ, reverb and pitch-correction modules, enabling complete vocal shaping inside the interface. Instrument models use the same control structure, allowing transposition and layering without artifacts or tonal degradation. The system preserves natural behavior regardless of pitch shifts or harmonic changes.
The IK Multimedia ReSing Modeler guides users through the process of generating voice models on-device, ensuring that the resulting models remain protected and usable only within ReSing. An optional Unlimited Model Generation add-on expands the number of custom models users can create.
IK Multimedia ReSing is available in two core editions: ReSing with ten voice models, ten instrument models and ten model generations, and ReSing MAX with expanded model counts and unlimited import capability. Both are offered as perpetual licenses with no ongoing subscription requirement.
