IK Multimedia has introduced its iRig Pro Quattro I/O. The rig is a 4-in and 2-out portable audio and MIDI interface that helps with everything from recording a session in the studio to mixing on the go. The iRig Pro Quattro I/O offers a four XLR and 1/4″ mic, guitar, and line ins with phantom power; two RCA, 3.5″ mm line ins; a built-in microphone; two balanced XLR outs; headphone out with direct monitoring and way more.
The iRig Pro Quattro I/O has both Stereo and Mono modes that you can pre-mix up to four audio sources that can be sent to your choice of streaming apps, DSLR camera or sound system. Switching to multichannel mode, the XLR mic/Hi-Z instrument and mic/line combo jacks or RCA/3.5″ mm stereo line inputs are routed to channels 1 to 4, giving you 4 channels of audio to send to recording apps.
The iRig Pro Quattro I/O also offers an iRig Pro Quattro I/O Deluxe version, featuring a pair of custom iRig XY mics for stereo sound, a windscreen, a power supply unit, and a carrying case. Get one here for $349, or the Deluxe version for $449.
