Ibanez is having a beefy week for signature models. First was Tim Henson of Polyphia, and now we’ve got new ones from both Andy Timmons and Paul Gilbert!
The Timmons model is the ATZ300 which features a African Mahogany body, Roasted Maple neck, 25″ scale, and a Rosewood fretboard with ATZ special inlays and 22 frets.
The ATZ300 comes equipped with a Wilkinson-Gotoh VSVG bridge and three pickups – the DiMarzio Cruiser in both the neck and middle positions, as well as the DiMarzio AT-1 humbucker in the bridge. The pickups are controlled by a 5-way switch, as well as a Volume control and two Tone knobs – one for the neck and middle, and one for the bridge.

Then there’s the Paul Gilbert FRM350 in all its Iceman glory. The FRM350 has an Okoume body, a 3-piece Okoume/Maple neck, 24.75″ scale, and a Bound Ebony fretboard with 22 frets and Acrylic & Abalone block inlays. The comes equipped with a Gibraltar Performer bridge and two DiMarzio Air Classic humbuckers.
