Ibanez has teamed up with legendary death metal and thrash bassist Steve Di Giorgio for the brand new, completely fretless SDGB1. The SDGB1 offers a 9-piece Maple/Bubinga/Panga Panga neck, an Ebonol fretboard for that beefy fretless sound, and a Flamed Maple top with an Ash/Okoume wing body. The SDGB1 comes with Nordstrand Big Single neck and bridge pickups, a Vari-mid 3-band EQ with an EQ bypass switch, and Cosmo black hardware throughout.
The SDGB1 comes in a Dark Moss Burst finish, as Di Giorgio himself points out it’s “his vibe.” The SDGB1 is available here for $1,699.99.
