Burls Art is back and he’s got one hell of a new project lined up. The project entails building a guitar from wood and epoxy with fire as a main tool, and the result is… I mean, it’s Burls Art. The result is gorgeous because everything this dude does look great.
The end result here is the Wildfire Baritone. The baritone offers a Charred Maple body with a thin epoxy surface on the body and a (patina) copper river inlay, 30″ scale length Baritone, a Birdseye Maple neck with a Ebony fretboard, and then a Seymour Duncan SH-4JB in the bridge and Seymour Duncan SH1n 59′ in the neck.
