Godin is combining the best of both the electric and acoustic worlds with their brand new Godin Radium-X. The Godin Radium-X offers a Mahogany body, carved Swamp Ash top, 25.5″ scale Mahogany neck, and Rosewood fingerboard alongside a Seymour Duncan Jazz SH-2 in the neck and Bare Knuckle Boot Camp True Grit Zebra in the bridge. So if you’re looking for an electric guitar capable of quite a tonal range, look no further.
Then there’s the acoustic side of the Godin Radium-X, which comes from the custom-designed LR-Baggs X-Bridge with six built-in “HEX” saddle transducers. The LR-Baggs X-Bridge can be controlled separately from the Radium-X‘s two humbuckers, providing true-to-form acoustic tones. The Radium-X also offers dual output jacks to use the guitar as either an exclusively electric or acoustic guitar, or a combination of both! Plus with the “acoustic/mix/magnetic” and “acoustic volume/blend” toggle switches, the choices are always there.
