Gibson has just unveiled the newest member of the Les Paul Studio family, the Les Paul Studio Session. Long story short, the Les Paul Studio Session is an upgraded version of the Les Paul based on customer feedback over the years.
Long story long, the Gibson Les Paul Studio Session features an Ultra-Modern weight-relieved Mahogany body, making it lighter and more comfortable to play, alongside a carved AA Figured Maple cap atop a Mahogany body. The Gibson Les Paul Studio Session offers a glued-in Mahogany neck with a Modern Contoured Heel, a fast-playing SlimTaper profile, and a bound Ebony fretboard equipped with acrylic trapezoid inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets.
The Gibson Les Paul Studio Session further offers high-quality Grover Rotomatic tuners with Keystone buttons, a fully adjustable aluminum Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge, aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, and Graph Tech nut, and then a ’57 Classic in the neck and ’57 Classic+ in the bridge.
The Gibson Les Paul Studio Session is available in Bourbon Burst, Honey Burst, Translucent Ebony, and Cobalt Burst finishes here for $1,999 each.
