Gibson is finally giving the modern Supreme treatment to their classic ES model and it’s pretty damn nice. I mean, it’s expensive, but it’s also a Supreme addition to the ES line – what else did you expect?
The ES Supreme offers up a 3-ply body with a AAA figured maple top, Super Split Block mother-of-pearl neck inlays, gold hardware, and a new mother-of-pearl headstock inlay inspired by a design from the 1940s that was discovered in the Gibson archives. So a mix of new old with that classic AAA wood top that you’d expect from a Supreme guitar at this point.
The ES Supreme further features a Mahogany neck with a Rounded “C” profile and compound radius Ebony fretboard, as well as the addition of push/pull volume pots for coil tapping the Burstbucker Rhythm Pro in the neck and Burstbucker Lead Pro in the bridge.
Get the ES Supreme here for $4,299 in Blueberry Burst, Seaform Green, and Bourbon Burst.
