Gibson has officially announced the return of their Les Paul Supreme. The Les Paul Supreme 2023 is available now in a Figured version with three finishes, with the third version – an exclusive Ebony version – available only through Gibson’s site.
The Gibson Les Paul Supreme in in Fireburst, Wine Red and Translucent Ebony Burst offers a AAA-figured Maple top on a Mahogany body, and an Ebony fretboard with a compound radius and Super Split Block mother-of-pearl inlays. The headstock showcases a retro ’40s mother-of-pearl inlay, while the body comes loaded with Burstbucker Pro pickups with push/pull Volume and Tone potentiometers for flexible coil tap, phase, and Pure Bypass switching.
Then there’s the Gibson Les Paul Supreme in Ebony, which offers much of the same plus a third Burstbucker Pro pickup. Other than that and its finish, the Gibson Les Paul Supreme in Ebony is largely the same.
