Fender has officially launched the Richie Kotzen Stratocaster worldwide, bringing a long-awaited signature model out of Japan and into the hands of global players. And yes, you know Richie Kotzen – dude’s played with everyone from Poison and Mr. Big to The Winery Dogs and Smith/Kotzen.
Previously available only in Japan, the Richie Kotzen Stratocaster is now getting its moment in the global spotlight. Designed for high-performance players, the guitar features a comfortably contoured ash body, a thick “C”-shaped maple neck, and 22 Super Jumbo frets — perfect for those big bends and rapid-fire runs Kotzen is known for. It’s loaded with custom DiMarzio pickups, distinctive gold hardware, Gotoh tuners with pearl buttons, and an elegant flame maple top in Trans-Burst finishes.

Fender and Kotzen go way back. In fact, their first signature collaborations date all the way back to 1995. And this new release marks a continuation of that creative partnership, one built on mutual respect and a shared belief in pushing musical limits.
