Friedman is here to give you all a brand new DI and dual-channel preamp with their brand new IR-D.
The IR-D offers two fully independent identical foot-switchable channels which are based on Friedman’s Dirty Shirley/Twin Sister designs – including a Dave modded JTM45 circuit which deliver the signature British tone for which Friedman is known for – with both channels featuring their own independent and highly tweakable Boost circuits.
The IR-D is powered by 2 x 12AX7 preamp tubes and works with Friedman’s Editor software, which allows you to tweak each channel’s power amp simulation via the Thump and Presence controls. The IR-D comes with 13 free Friedman IRs and the ability to load your favorites.
The IR-D also offers MIDI programmable features, a 2-way Bright switch and 3-way Structure switch per channel, and an ultra-transparent series FX loop.
