Fred Brum to Demo Aristides Guitars at NAMM

He looks like the Transporter, he shreds like Vai, he has over 7,000 YouTube subscribers and more pretty extended range guitars than Misha Mansoor – he’s Fred Brum! And at this year’s Winter NAMM show he’ll be demonstrating the new Aristides 070 7-string guitar that we told you about back in November, at the Aristides booth #3394.

Here’s the blurb about it straight from Aristides:

“Aristides Instruments announces a meet and greet opportunity with popular extended range guitarist, Fred Brum at their booth #3394 during this year’s National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) show in Anaheim, California.  A classically trained pianist, Brum took to the guitar at age 15 and quickly became a first call session guitarist. With over 7000 YouTube subscribers, Brum has become a significant influence in extended range guitars including 7 and 8 string instruments with 36 frets.  He will also be demonstrating the brand new Aristides Instruments 070 seven string guitars throughout the show. “

So who’s going? I’ll be there, will I see you?

If you can’t make it, here’s a video of him playing it:

As Editor-in-Chief of Gear Gods, I've been feeding your sick instrument fetishism and trying unsuccessfully to hide my own since 2013. I studied music on both coasts (Berklee and SSU) and now I'm just trying to put my degree to some use. That's a music degree, not an English one. I'm sure you noticed.
