Another day, another new Fender series. Earlier this week it was the brand’s killer offset guitars, and now they’re throwing it back to their rare ’80s Japanese models.
First up is the JV Modified ’60s Stratocaster, which features a Basswood body, Maple neck with Maple fretboard and 9.5″ fingerboard radius, and three Vintage-Style Single-Coil Strat pickups. The JV Modified ’60s Stratocaster also offers a push-pull pot on tone knob 2 that adds neck pickup to switch positions 1 and 2. The JV Modified ’60s Custom Telecaster features a Basswood body, Maple neck with Rosewood fretboard and 9.5″ fingerboard radius, and two Vintage-Style Single-Coil Tele pickups. The JV Modified ’60s Custom Telecaster also offers a 4-way switch with ‘series’ mode and a push-pull pot on the tone knob activates out-of-phase mode.
