Fender has just introduced their brand new Joe Strummer Telecaster, modeled after The Clash frontman’s famouns 1966 model. The Joe Strummer Telecaster features a heavily relic’ed lacquer-finished Alder body, a mid-’60s “C”-shape maple neck with custom-voiced Joe Strummer Telecaster pickups, and a vintage-style 6-saddle Telecaster bridge to really nail down the ’60s vibe. Elsewhere the guitar features era-correct appointments like a 3-ply parchment pickguard, vintage-style tuning machines, and a neck plate all worn to look the part.
