
Fender has expanded their Player II Series to include some fairly affordable Sunburst models.
The Player II Stratocaster and Telecaster offer up Modern “C”-profile necks with satin urethane finish on the back, 9.5″-radius slab Rosewood or Maple fingerboards with smooth rolled edges, and 22 medium jumbo frets.
The Sunburst finish models both come with an Alder body, Player Series Alnico V Single-Coil Tele or Strat pickups, and then either a 5-way blade switch on the Strat or 3-way on the Tele. Two-point tremolo and ClassicGear tuners ensure precise tuning stability for the flexibility to explore endless sonic possibilities.
Both the Player II Stratocaster and Telecaster are available here for $899.99 each.
Then there are the Player II Jazz Bass and Precision Bass, which features all the same wood choices the guitars. The Jazz bass comes with Series Alnico V Single-Coil J bass pickups, while the Precision offers up a single Player Series Alnico V Split-Coil P bass. Both have adjustable 4-saddle bridge, single-groove steel saddles and open-gear tuners.
