EVH has just rolled out a beautiful rendition of Eddie Van Halen’s favorite 6-string sidekick, the Frankenstein. EVH’s new Frankenstein Series comes in classic Red, White, and Black finishes all relic’d as if they’d survived a Van Halen trek.
The Frankenstein Series nails that Van Halen look with an open cavity appearance and direct mount bridge humbucker and dummy neck pickup – so yes, you’re only getting one EVH Wolfgang Humbucking pickup. Elsewhere, there’s an EVH Branded Floyd Rose Trem, nut, and D-Tuna; a Maple C-shaped neck and fingerboard; and Basswood body. There’s also a heel-mount truss rod adjustment, perfect for any tweaks you might need to do on the fly.
