EVH has just unveiled their brand new MIJ Signature Wolfgang model and it’s pretty damn nice. The MIJ model offers a Basswood body with a big leaf Maple arched top and five-ply binding, and is paired with a graphite-reinforced bolt-on quartersawn Maple neck and 12-16″ compound radius Ebony fingerboard with rolled edges.
The MIJ model comes with a a custom-wound EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbucker in the bridge and an alnico 3 custom-wound EVH Wolfgang humbucker in the neck, a reverse oriented three-way toggle switch, and a custom-designed EVH BI Tech HPU low friction volume knob creates even-volume tapering for smooth volume swells.
