Eventide is offering something quite unique with their brand new Riptide pedal. The Riptide combines the iconic Uni-Vibe and legendary overdrives, both of which offer two distinct voices for each effect in glorious stereo.
The Riptide can be switched between Uni-Vibe and overdrive with the Drive ⇆ Vibe. The Uni-Vibe side features Vibe, Speed, and Intensity controls; while the overdrive side offers Drive, Tone, and Level knobs. The Riptide also brings with it five presets with more available with Eventide Device Manager (EDM) software, as well as a rear panel Guitar/Line Level switch for matching impedances with guitar, synths, FX loop or DAW interface.
The Riptide gives you MIDI capability over TRS, multiple bypass options, and is compatible with the Eventide Device Manager PC or Mac application for software updates, system settings and creating/saving presets.
