Among ESP‘s new guitars is the brand new LTD Deluxe XJ-1 HT, which looks like a super metal Jazzmaster.
The XJ-1 HT offers a bolt-on thin U-shaped Roasted Maple neck construction at 25.5″ scale, Macassar Ebony fingerboard with pearloid block inlays and 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets, and a textured sandblasted Black Blast finish on its Swamp Ash body. The XJ-1 HT keeps the tension on (your strings) thanks to a tilt-back reverse headstock, made all the better with LTD locking tuners and a Hipshot hardtail bridge with string thru body.
The XJ-1 HT comes loaded with a single Fluence Open Core Classic bridge pickup with three voices accessible via push-pull control. They are:
- Voice 1 gives you the legendary bridge pickup humbucker tone along with the output levels you need for contemporary music performances
- Voice 2 hot-rods that bridge tone, but still provides the dynamics you need for your most expressive performances
- Voice 3 is the coveted tone of a slightly overwound single coil
