Ernie Ball Music Man has updated their James Valentine Signature Collection for 2024 with some new pickups and four new finishes – Ivory White, Cherry, Gloss Black, and Trans Buttermilk.
The James Valentine models are available in two configurations, those being the Valentine HH and the Valentine. The HH model offers up two Music Man Valentine HT Humbuckers, while the Valentine standard offers the humbucker in the neck and then a Music Man custom wound staggered pole piece single coil in the bridge. Both offer a coil tap for different tones, as well as a push-push boost circuit with a 20 dB boost.
Other than that, both James Valentine models have an Ash body, Roasted Figured Maple neck with either a Rosewood or Maple fretboard, and 22 frets. The HH models are available in Ivory White or Cherry, while the single coil standard model is available in Gloss Black and Trans Buttermilk. Get ’em here for $2,999 each.
