Ernie Ball Music Man is marking 20 years of collaboration with guitarist John Petrucci (Dream Theater, Liquid Tension Experiment) by way of two anniversary signature models – the The 20th Anniversary John Petrucci and the 20th Anniversary Majesty.
The 20th Anniversary John Petrucci
The 20th Anniversary John Petrucci features a flamed maple top with a forearm scoop seated in a Honey Butter Burst finished Honduran mahogany body. The 20th Anniversary John Petrucci comes with a grain-filled Mahogony bolt-on design, an Ebony fretboard with unique gold John Petrucci shield inlays, gold and black hardware, and a laser-etched anniversary tremolo backplate. As for the pickups, The John Petrucci comes with a signature DiMarzio Crunch Lab in the bridge and a Liquifire in the neck combined with a +20db boost preamp and onboard piezo bridge system.
The 20th Anniversary John Petrucci is available in 6 and 7 string versions. The 6 string retails for $3,799, while the 7 string goes for $3,999.
The 20th Anniversary Majesty
The 20th Anniversary Majesty features a flamed maple shield seated in a Honey Butter Burst finished Honduran mahogany body with a glossy translucent finish on the back. The 20th Anniversary Majesty comes with a grain-filled Mahogony neck-thru design, Ebony fretboard with unique gold John Petrucci shield inlays, gold and black hardware, and a laser-etched anniversary tremolo backplate. The 20th Anniversary Majesty comes with a DiMarzio Dreamcatcher in the bridge and Rainmaker in the neck, which, when combined with an onboard piezo bridge system, give the Majesty a focused and highly versatile palette of tones.
The 20th Anniversary Majesty is available in 6 and 7 string versions. The 6 string retails for $3,899, while the 7 string goes for $4,099.
