Ernie Ball Music Man has just unveiled limited-edition Tim Commerford Artist Series StingRay Bass in Xavier Green as an active bass, and Quentin Blue as a passive bass.
The Tim Commerford Artist Series StingRay Bass combines an Ash body, Roasted Maple neck, and an Ebony fretboard alongside either an active or passive neodymium Music Man humbucker. The active bass features an 18-volt preamp and an 3-band EQ, while the passive bass includes a passive boost, a 3-way rotary pickup selector, and a tone knob. Both basses also come loaded with a finger ramp thumb rest inspired by Commerford’s playing style.
