Electro-Harmonix is here to go hard as hell into the world of octave effects thanks to their new POG3.
Despite is spaceship look, the POG3 is indeed a pedal. The POG3 delivers lightning-fast tracking and polyphony over 4 octaves with smoother tone and performance than ever before. This includes everything from 12-string jangle to 6-voice drawbar organ sounds, and maybe even whatever the hell it was Deron Miller was doing in CKY. That, but bigger.
The POG3 features six voices including a regular Dry voice and then -2, -1, +5th, +1, and +2 harmonies (largely in octaves). Players can mix each with individual sliders and create enveloping stereo effects with dedicated pan knobs and selectable outputs.
The effects section on the POG3 has been expanded to offer envelope control and adjustable Q for the new multi-mode Filter, enhanced Detune section with Spread, and individual Dry effect selection. That, all on top of the renown Attack slider for swell effects.
Everything the POG3 does is now controllable via expression and MIDI. There are even new expression effects including Freeze, Glissando, Volume, Filter, X-Fade, and Warp with advanced programming and performance controls.
