Dingwall is now streaming a new demo of their Dingwall D-Roc Standard alongside Pete Griffin and his track “9th Floor Walkup”.
The D-Roc Standard offers a Khaya body, a 5-piece Maple neck alongside a Pau Ferro fretboard and 20 “banjo-sized” frets. The 4-string model has a scale length of 34″ to 36.5″, while the 5-string offers a lengthier 34″ to 37″.
The D-Roc Standard is triple-loaded with FD-3n passive pickups. Using the 4-position Quad-Tone pickup selector, you can choose to operate just the bridge pickup, the bridge and middle pickups, just the middle pickup, or the bridge, middle and neck pickup in unison. The remaining controls comprise passive tone and master volume.
On the D-Roc Standard, Griffin offered: “I’ve played ‘classic’ style basses for my whole career, so I was surprised just how natural the Dingwall D-Roc Standard felt in my hands, and the tone is to die for!”
