Digitech appeared to have gone out of business in April, but was ultimately revealed to have been bought by COR-TEK few weeks later. Though still – nothing about the brand surfaced and we were all left wondering what was going on. Now at least there’s some hope.
Digitech has taken to Instagram to post the classic Blues Brothers clip about getting the band back together, followed by the appearance of their logo. Digitech also used put #Whammy right up front in the description, of course making everyone hope that they’re going to reissue the iconic effects pedal. So we’ll see, but it seems safe to say that it’s time to get stoked.
