The Exile Select offers 5-piece Slim D-shape Maple Walnut neck with a through heel joint on an Eastern Mahogany body, an Ebony fretboard with 24 frets, and a Floyd Rose R3 nut. The Exile Select comes equipped with a combination of Fishman Fluence Modern bridge and Fluence Classic neck pickups, both offering dual modes that you can access with the push/pull tone knob. Other features include a Qualited Maple arched top, glow in the dark side dots, and Floyd Rose 1000 series tremolo system. The Exile Select is finished off in a satin Black Burst finish.

“This guitar is not designed to stay in just one lane,” said Dean of the Exile Select. “Eye-catching and tonally versatile, the Exile Select Floyd Neck-Thru Archtop SBB is a guitar that will inspire players of a range of styles to explore new sonic territory while making the most of every note.”

This is especially good news considering the onslaught of copyright infringement lawsuits Dean has faced from Gibson over the years. The lawsuits resulted in Dean having to stop producing their Z, V, and Gran Sport guitars, though clearly Dean ain’t done yet.
