Chris Broderick (ex-Megadeth) of Ace of Defiance sat down with Jackson Guitars to discuss Chris’s signature USA hardtail guitars. The guitar has a volume control that conceals a push/pull switch for coil-splitting, while the tone control’s push/pull switch enables the tone circuit; The guitar also has a killswitch. The bridge is a Jackson Single String hardtail bridge along with Planet Waves Auto-Trim tuning machines. As for the neck, it has a 12”-radius ebony fingerboard with 24 jumbo stainless steel frets. The pickups in the guitar are Chris’s custom DiMarzio pickups. The body of the guitar has Maple body binding, a matching quilted maple headcap and quilted maple neck binding and also includes Ernie Ball strap locks. The guitar comes in 6 and 7 string designs.
