CHARVEL Drops Three New Made In Japan MJ Series Dinky Models

Charvel is throwing it back to the ’80s when their guitars were manufactured exclusively in Japan, thanks to their new the MJ DK24 HSH 2PT W models.

The MJ DK24 HSH 2PT W models offer up Mahogany bodies with a sculpted shredder’s cut heel to ensure access to upper frets. The models further feature bolt-on Wenge necks, a 12″-16″ compound radius Wenge fingerboard, and 24 jumbo stainless steel frets.

The MJ DK24 HSH 2PT W models feature an HSH-configuration with a Seymour Duncan Full Shred TB-10 in the bridge, a Seymour Duncan Custom Flat Strat SSL-6 Single-Coil in the middle, and a Custom Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro APH-1N.

On the models, Charvel offered: “Attentively crafted in Japan and exquisite in style, the MJ Series blends Charvel’s unparalleled legacy of designing high-performance instruments with an assortment of top-end features.”

The MJ DK24 HSH 2PT W models come in a Black finish with a standard Mahogany body, as well as Caribbean Burst and Antique Burst finishes with a Flame Maple top.
