Boss has unveiled the latest addition to their Katana Guitar Amp lineup in the form of the very small Katana-Air EX.
The Katana-Air EX is a totally wireless guitar amp featuring two 5″ speakers that deliver a powerful 35-watt sound. The Katana-Air EX offers ultra-low latency, five preamps types derived from previous Katana stage amplifier, three independent effects sections, and 50 world-class BOSS effects.
The Katana-Air EX also brings with it an BOSS Tone Studio with visual amp/effect structure and YouTube playback feature, as well as an optional FS01WL wireless footswitch or EV-1WL wireless expression pedal. Better yet, the Katana Air-EX allows you to both record tracks directly to your DAW via USB and use the stereo line output with mic’d cab emulation for live performances. It also doubles as a Bluetooth speaker, because of course it does.
