Bogren Digital has teamed up with Trivium drummer Alex Bent for a brand new drum instrument plugin, aptly named the Trivium Drums.
Trivium Drums was developed by producer Jens Bogren (Opeth, Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy) in close collaboration with Bent and gives you mix-finished metal drums right out of the box. Trivium Drums offers up 100 MIDI grooves and fills performed by Bent, all with sounds recorded at Fascination Street Studios’ famous drum room. Trivium Drums comes complete with algorithms for adding realism to programmed drums, as well as a selectable Natural mode for access to the unprocessed drum sounds — so whatever you’re looking for, Trivium Drums has it.
Even better, Trivium Drums includes Bogren Digital’s proprietary Anti-Machinegun feature. The algorithm intelligently adds variation to fast consecutive drum hits to avoid the unnatural machinegun effect that can otherwise occur. Another clever feature is Auto Double Kick, which automatically alternates between two different kick drums during fast kick drum runs.
